LOCH STIAPABHAT

The Nature Observatory encourages use of the reserve for environmental education for all ages.  It provides high quality and innovative interpretation media, helping people to learn about, and care for, the loch and its wildlife.  A new listening post provides interpretation for people with visual disabilities, whilst a camcorder and laptop provides more engaging visits for a range of different groups.  The observatory also provides an excellent educational resource for schools and youth groups, with educational materials, drawing packs and children’s binoculars placed in the observatory to assist learning and engagement with nature.  Below are some activity sheets that can be found in the observatory.
